International soft drink brand CANS joins the KFDC!

Say HELLO to the our newest KFDC member! 👋

As a child of the 70s, CANS founder Jaroslav Beck describes how kids like him were almost trained to have a sweet tooth, with the food and beverage industry "taking advantage of our species’ drive to consume sugar and fat above all else to survive". And when we realised that too much sugar was bad for us, the industry came up with artificial sweeteners, which simply compounded our health problems.

This worsening situation inspired Beck to create a range of fizzy drinks which turn the whole soft drinks industry (and its obsession with sweetness) on its head, with a refreshing, delicious drink that is loud and proud about being "not sweet". The CANS range is free from any added sugar or sweeteners, and contains only sparking water and just 4% fruit juice.

Launching in the UK in March 2025, we cannot wait to see how CANS is going to shake up the entire soft drinks industry, which currently offers so few truly healthy options for children and teenagers.
